Laura Williams and Karoline Steckley reunited for the first time in 18 years to run the Paris marathon on April 5, 2009. They ran to raise money for Rotary International's global initiative of the eradication of Polio - all while running their first marathons together in the beautiful city of Paris. The story isn't over yet....

The first time I saw this little statue, I thought that it was a sad attempt to get people to visit an otherwise beautiful street. I will admit it here, because this is our blog, I visited this little statue many times because it was on such a beautiful street in Brussels, and let's face it - it's kinda funny.
I sure hope so.
