Two, No. TWENTY Cheers for Endorphins

An interesting thing about this week's run is that two weeks ago when I did a similar distance, I felt gross, yet this week I felt fine. "Sure," you say, "it's normal, you build up this way, that's what Hot Hal's program is all about!" And I know you're right, but, believe me, two Sundays ago I could never have imagined feeling good after a run this long, ever. I also couldn't imagine running without being pelted with frozen rain ...

But that's all in the past now. Forgotten. History.

Back to Saturday. Here's the really good thing about long distance running: EUPHORIA!!! At some point between my house and Slovenia there were two words running through my head: "PURE JOY!"Wow. Who knew that the increase in time and distance would directly correlate to the amount of madman endorphins my brain would squirt out. I'm not gonna lie to you.

I liked it.

  1. No, they are not endorphons - you just confirmed that only crazy people run...
