You got it, girl. I will be doing 13.1 on Friday - Hangover Half with my friend Mary Karen. I'm all about training with you, though. Looks like you already have some catching up to do!!!! haha
ReplyDeleteLadies!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat have I missed since Paris?!!
My sincere apologies. I have been too busy sulking in Nigeria. Now that I am out of my 'denial' phase I can proudly enter the 'acceptance' phase. Maybe I am feeling the wine from last night, but what are we training for?!
A HALF on New Years?? You really ARE a stinker!! Now I'M going to have to run a half on NEW YEARS!! Arrrrgh! That means a trip for a new tub of horse cream muscle soother much earlier than expected!
ReplyDeleteMINKEN, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!! BEING LOST IN THE DEPTHS OF NIGERIA IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT KEEPING UP ON OUR BLOG!
Minken - clearly you didn't scroll to the bottom of the page for my 2010 schedule.

Kari is training for the Trieste Marathon. I will follow her training schedule as a "virtual partner" because that's the way we do things on this blog.
NOW - it sounds like Kari and I are going to have to do some virtual training for you as well! Goodness, you must be putting on the sympathy weight with the wife (get out there and run, damn it!!!!) :)
Laura,
ReplyDeleteI did scroll - but I figured that if you were going to be the virtual training partner that you would have a REAL event on the same day to keep you motivated as well? But I saw no mention of anything along those lines...
Karoline,
Unfortunately I am not lost and I know exactly where I am...that thought just makes me depressed!
Oh Minken, I hope we didn't hurt your feelings... is there a race we can all train for? Maybe that will make us feel better!
ReplyDeleteMinken - sorry. Kari and I aren't used to handling you with reserved language, but under your current conditions, we will be gentle....promise. You have many things on your mind, and apparently a lot of time to think -
ReplyDeleteJoin our virtual racing! Run a half-ie with me on Friday. Bring in the new year with your friends!
(wink)
